Mother Nature shines bright as tapestries of vibrant wildflowers blanket over 800 miles of trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and natural beauty blooms throughout downtown Gatlinburg. To celebrate the splendor of Spring, Gatlinburg businesses come alive with décor, adding a bit of their own unique flair to the verdant season. 

Vote For Your Favorites

Participating Gatlinburg businesses engage in a friendly competition, as they rival for the Best Spring Decorations. We’re calling all visitors to Gatlinburg to be the official judges of the Gatlinburg Springfest People’s Choice Awards. While enjoying your spring getaway, we invite you to vote for your favorite spring decorations.  To participate, download the Visit Gatlinburg app to locate and easily map out all the businesses participating in Springfest.  As you walk through town, keep an eye out for all the lively decorations. Then, vote for your favorite Springfest decoration on the form below or in the app. The business with the most votes will receive the title of Gatlinburg Springfest People's Choice Award.

The Springfest Decorating Contest is a fun opportunity for all businesses to get involved during the season of Spring. The City of Gatlinburg has an unbiased team that takes a day to go around town to admire all the hard work our businesses put in to make our town festive! There are three different categories that the businesses are placed in based on the judges’ decisions on how well the businesses decorated. They are judged based on Use of Plant Material, Use of Color, Creativity, Overall Appearance and Curb Appeal.
