Responsibilities
Mountain Laurel is responsible for making reservations for the rental units on its management program. Utilizing an advertising campaign, communicating potential customers, and taking reservations using reservation software accomplish this task. Incoming toll-free and local telephone lines are in operation for reservation purposes, as well as real-time, on-line booking available 24/7.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Checking guests in and out upon arrival and departure
  • Greeting customers and answering questions in person with a pleasant demeanor
  • Taking reservations and answering various inquiries via phone
  • Answering questions that come through Live Chat via the Mountain Laurel website
  • Updating information using vacation management system pertaining to:
    • Housekeeping
    • Guest Records
    • Maintenance Requests reported by guests
  • Overseeing general cleanliness of office space including:
    • Cleaning and removing trash from guest bathroom daily
    • Straightening & restocking merchandise shelving
    • Dusting & maintaining cleanliness of the front office area
  • Assist in shopping, planning, and preparing daily team lunches, Guest welcome packet preparations and special events and celebrations

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma
  • Valid Tennessee Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service skills & phone etiquette
  • Good attitude toward the public
  • Ability to multitask, process small retail purchases
  • Possess basic knowledge of technology and typing skills
