Gatlinburg, Tenn. - After over a decade of telling the stories of the gateway to the Smokies, Visit Gatlinburg celebrates “Millions of Memories” as the popular Facebook page received its 1 millionth follower this month. Established in 2009, the platform has been a voice of Gatlinburg highlighting the rich scenic beauty of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the attractions, businesses, events, and achievements of the city.
Gatlinburg has been a basecamp of adventure to many, being a second home away from home to millions of travelers across the world. Millions of memorable moments have been shared between family members and friends creating a bond with the mountains that cannot be broken. To pay homage to the one-of-a-kind experiences had throughout the past decade, the Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau invites those memory makers to share the smiles, laughs, adventures, and more by posting photos or videos of their favorite Gatlinburg experience using #TheMemoriesAreCalling on Visit Gatlinburg.
The Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau will choose one lucky winner for a Gatlinburg getaway, featuring a 2-night stay at Mountain Laurel Chalets, an Attractions Pass, and special gifts from local restaurants, retail shops, and more.
Other winners will also be chosen to receive various Gatlinburg commemorative goods. The winners will be announced October 12, 2022 on the Visit Gatlinburg Facebook page.
