HunterGirl
Rising Country Music Star to Lead “First July Fourth Parade in the Nation”

Rising country music star and recent runner-up of ABC’s American Idol, HunterGirl will lead the 47th Annual Gatlinburg Fourth of July Midnight Parade as Grand Marshal.  Having a passion for music since a young age, the Tennessee native has captured the hearts of not only judges, but crowds of music-lovers all over the nation, playing in renowned Nashville venues since she was only 18 years old. The singer/songwriter most recently performed at the 2022 CMA Fest, singing her original chart-topping song “Red Bird”, among others to packed-out crowds. A rising up-and-comer, HunterGirl has opened for country music stars such as Old Dominion, Sara Evans, Alan Jackson, and Florida Georgia Line.

With a unique talent for songwriting, HunterGirl channels her admiration for veterans in the writings of many of her songs. Working with music therapy organizations that assist the nation’s veterans such as Freedom Sings USA, Operation Song, Soldier’s Child, and the Charlie Hazel Daniels Veteran Center, HunterGirl works to give retired soldiers’ stories life through her lyrics.

Stepping off at 12:01a.m., the Grand Marshal will be the first to ring in the Independence Day holiday kicking off the “First July Fourth Parade in the Nation” in downtown Gatlinburg.
