The Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to announce Logan Crosby, a rising star in country music, as the Grand Marshal of the 50th Annual July 4th Midnight Parade. The historic event will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, continuing a cherished tradition that draws tens of thousands of spectators each year as the first Independence Day parade in the nation.

With a voice rooted in soulful storytelling and Southern grit, Logan Crosby brings an authenticity and energy that make him the perfect choice to headline this milestone celebration. A native of Milledgeville, Georgia, Logan’s music evokes a sense of nostalgia, blending themes of first loves, heartbreak and small-town life with a modern country sound. He first caught the public’s attention as the runner-up on ABC’s “Claim to Fame” and has since built a devoted fanbase following the release of his breakout single “Run Away With You” in 2023.

“Logan Crosby represents the heart of today’s country music—fresh, sincere and full of Southern soul,” said Chad Netherland, CEO of the Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We’re honored to welcome him as Grand Marshal for the 50th year of our July 4th tradition. His story and music resonate deeply with our community and visitors.”

Crosby’s debut album, 2019, features standout tracks like “You’re Still” and “2019”, showcasing his ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with a contemporary edge. On stage, his magnetic presence has earned him opening spots for artists like Megan Moroney and performances at festivals with crowds topping 20,000.

This year’s parade will feature more than 100 entries, including patriotic floats, military honors, marching bands, and specialty performance groups. The procession follows Gatlinburg’s Parkway, beginning at Baskins Creek Bypass and ending at traffic light #10, creating a high-energy, family-friendly celebration that kicks off Independence Day in true Smoky Mountain style. The parade is just the beginning of a full holiday weekend in Gatlinburg, which also includes the River Raft Regatta, a mesmerizing drone show, and a grand finale fireworks display lighting up the night sky over downtown.
