GatlinBURGER Week Participation
September 17 - 23, 2023
Gatlinburg has got a line on a good hamburger. That's why we dedicated an entire week to the delicious concoction. We are asking Gatlinburg restaurants to make one great burger to sell for only 7 days to compete for the title of "GatlinBURGER Meister."
How does it work?
During this week, we are asking participating restaurants to create a special, unique burger (beef, fish, pork, chicken, BBQ, veggie) that's NOT currently on your menu and will only be available for 7 days during GatlinBURGER week. For this promotion, your restaurant can set the price for this special, unique burger and you can choose whether to sell the burger by itself or with a side.
Through this promotion, both Gatlinburg visitors and locals have the chance to try these unique burgers, and eat to win cool prizes by completing the following 4 steps:

Download the Visit Gatlinburg App and locate the GatlinBURGER Challenge to plan your culinary tour. To win cool prizes and qualify for a chance to win the Grand Prize, complete the following 4 steps:
ORDER: Visit participating Gatlinburg restaurants located in the app under the GatlinBURGER Challenge and order their special burger.
CHECK-IN: Check-in on the app using a special code only provided after placing your order for their special burger. Each location will have a different, unique code.
SHARE & TAG: Share your burger photos on social media using #GatlinBURGER and be sure to tag the restaurant location.
VOTE: Once you've completed the GatlinBURGER Challenge, be sure to vote for your favorite burger to determine which restaurant wins the title of GatlinBURGER Meister.
Win the Title of GatlinBURGER Meister
As visitors vote for their favorite burger, your business will have the opportunity to win the title of GatlinBurger Meister! All and all this is a great way to get people excited visiting Gatlinburg in September and helps your business get additional exposure and new people to try your delicious food!
Promotion
The Gatlinburg CVB will promote this event on our website, social and paid digital campaigns. It is sponsored by WATE and will be featured on Living East Tennessee. Gatlinburg hotels will also promote this event to guests. The CVB will also provide table tents and posters to participating restaurants to help promote the event which also provides a QR code to download the app.
