Gatlinburg City Information

Gatlinburg City Officials will continue a damage assessment of roadways, infrastructure and public works as the city prepares to reopen for business.

We have received many calls and emails concerning the status of the Gatlinburg Convention Center.  We appreciate your kindness.  We are pleased to announce the Gatlinburg Convention Center along with the majority of the downtown business community survived the wildfires.

While it was necessary to close the Gatlinburg Convention Center during this assessment timeframe; all events scheduled for Gatlinburg Convention will resume in late December.  Beginning with the Xtreme Conference scheduled for December 27, 2016 – January 2, 2017 the Gatlinburg Convention Center will resume normal event schedule.

Our community is to ready to return to greeting our groups, tourist and customers.
