Official Decoration Contest 2024 Entry Form 

Help Gatlinburg be the PREMIER Vacation Destination this fall by decorating your business for the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival. It is FREE to participate and open to all Regular Chamber members located in Gatlinburg.

 

Suggested Items to use for Decoration: 

Scarecrows 
Hay Bales 
Cornstalks
Wagons 
Mums 
Pumpkins  
Gourds 
Antique Farm Equipment 

 

Displays will be judged on the following categories: 

  • Use of Plant Material
  • Use of Color
  • Creativity
  • Overall Appearance
  • Curb Appeal 


Each business will receive an overall score based on the above-mentioned categories and receive either a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze award. These rankings are solely based on the business’s decorations and are not compared with or to any other business. City Fire Regulations: All Displays Must Be Treated with Fire Retardant Chemicals. Application Deadline:

Wednesday, September 25, 2024 


Judging will take place within the following week. Please be prepared for the judges to arrive any time from September 29th through October 5th. For time's sake, they will not notify you of their arrival. Each business may enter one (1) display.
