Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights

November 22, 2019 - January 25, 2020

Downtown Gatlinburg

Visitors can soak up the spirit of the season from the comfort of a Gatlinburg Trolley when they take the exciting Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights. The specially designated trolleys carry their guests on a memorable journey through downtown and adjacent East Parkway, allowing everyone to experience the magical wonder of Gatlinburg Winter Magic.

Visitors can catch the trolley daily at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. from November 22 until December 31. Trolley tours do not run on December 6, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve.

After the holiday season, trolley tours will run on Saturdays at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 until January 25.

This year visitors can enjoy Trolley Ride of Lights’ new and exciting enhancements with their ticket purchase:

– A special costumed storyteller as your guide
– Complimentary cup of hot chocolate provided by Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
– Special Christmas token to show our thanks and commemorate your experience on the Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights

With these enhancements, the general admission price for Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights will increase from $5 to $10.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation and its commitment to providing local scholarship awards and member educational programs.

Gatlinburg has converted its timeless winter lights program to quarter-watt LED bulbs, replacing the 5-watt incandescent bulbs and saving the City some 95 percent in energy waste.
