Stained Glass Angel

Students will learn two basic skills of making stained glass. Students will learn the basics of the two most important skills in stained glass as they create a simple stained glass angel. First, students will learn to cut glass using a glass cutter to score a line onto the glass, then breaking the glass on the score line. The second skill is to use a soldering iron to affix the pieces together. Students will also learn to use a glass grinder and to wrap each piece of glass with soft lead came. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. (Limit 1 non-participating adult per minor.)
