Bluegrass music legend Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will perform in Gatlinburg on Saturday, February 26 at 8 p.m. in Mills Auditorium as part of the celebration of Tennessee Songwriters Week. Ricky Skaggs is a 15-time Grammy Award winner, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. His passion for bluegrass music has helped preserve the musical genre and created a legacy of the most talented artists of his generation.
“This is an opportunity to see an incredibly entertaining performance by a master of the mandolin and his star-studded band, Kentucky Thunder,” says Marci Claude, Public Relations Manager, Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Mills Auditorium is an intimate venue and perfect for a live performance like this.”
The concert will be held in Mills Auditorium in the Gatlinburg Convention Center located at 234 Historic Nature Trail/Airport Road. There are a limited number of tickets available.
