The holiday season has arrived in Gatlinburg with one of the city’s greatest Christmas traditions, the annual Festival of Trees. Presented by Gatlinburg Hospitality Solutions, this free event has brought the joys of the season to residents and visitors for nearly 50 years, while simultaneously supporting the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
The festival will run from Wednesday, November 24 through Sunday, November 28 and feature elaborate Christmas trees and decorations, a special appearance by Santa on Friday, and take-home crafts for the children from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 29.
The festivities will begin with a special kickoff on Tuesday, November 23 at 6 p.m. with the Candy Canes & Cocktails Preview Party and Silent Auction at the W. L. Mills Conference Center on Historic Nature Trail in Gatlinburg. Attendees can purchase silent auction items, beautifully decorated wreaths and swags, and bid on their favorite Christmas trees.
