Responsibilities
Mountain Laurel Chalets performs housekeeping services for the chalets on its program after each rental. The function of the Chalet Inspector is to check behind the contracted cleaners for cleanliness and to report on the cleaner’s performance. The position requires a basic knowledge of housekeeping standards and the willingness to perform work as necessary to maintain a level of cleanliness as set for by the company.
Daily Duties Include:
Spot cleaning carpets
Replacing light bulbs
Cleaning cobwebs, ceiling fans, windows & window sills
Assisting laundry functions as time & demand requires
Maintaining an orderly, clean and stocked work vehicle with regularly used items
Tracking & reporting on the use of consumable items in each chalet
Performing security checks
As directed, occasionally clean office & assist with daily team lunch preparations
Desired Skills & Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Tennessee Driver's License with excellent driving record
Must be able to traverse chalets in different weather conditions
Must be able to bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections
Must be able to occasionally lift 20 pounds
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Friendly attitude toward the public
Prior housekeeping or inspecting experience preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate based on experience
