We fell in love with all of the photos submitted as part of our Kiss & Tell Photo Contest, but like most contests, there can only be one winner. And that winner is… Marshanna Boyette Hall!

We asked Marshanna and two of our other contest finalists to sound off on what makes Gatlinburg such a great place for romance. Read on to see what they say!

Contest Winners: Marshanna Boyette Hall & Cameron Stuart Hall, Suwannee County, Florida Date of photo: December 22, 2013

Q. What is the story behind your photo? A. We were on vacation with a friend and Cameron's twin brother who had came home from the Army for Christmas. On the last night we were in Gatlinburg we decided to go on the Gatlinburg Skylift. The stars were beautiful that night and as we were casually talking about life, Cameron grabbed my hand and asked me the biggest question of my life!

Q. When is the wedding? A. Cameron and I got married on January 4, 2014 before he left to go into the Army. I am leaving for the Army as well in April, but we will be meeting up in Florida to have a formal ceremony for our family and friends on December 27, 2014!

Q. How will you use your romantic getaway? We will be using this romantic getaway as our honeymoon. It will be the perfect place to get some alone time after being away from each other for many months! We love Gatlinburg and have made many memories there!

Q. What is your favorite romantic location in Gatlinburg? A. We enjoy going to all of the outlook places and different water falls. However, the Gatlinburg Skylift will always be our special romantic spot!

Q. What is the story behind your photo? A. We came to Gatlinburg for your anniversary. It snowed and all the roads were shut down and we were hoping to hike some trails. We decided to hike the Gatlinburg trail to the visitor center. We also hiked the Cataract Falls Trail. Hiking in the snow is a whole new beautiful experience.

Q. What is your favorite romantic location in Gatlinburg? A. The Park Vista or the Space Needle in town. Other than that we love Cades Cove.

Q. How often do you visit Gatlinburg? A. 2-3 times a year.

Finalists: Andrew Gonzalez & Alyssa Gutierrez, Miami, FL Date of Photo: December 31, 2013

Q. What is the story behind your photo? A. Alyssa and I were walking around Downtown Gatlinburg near "The Village" and we noticed a street post with a mistletoe still hanging on it from Christmas. So we gave our family our camera and waited for a red light so we could capture this shot. It was such spontaneous and exciting moment.

Q. What is your favorite romantic location in Gatlinburg? A. As much as we LOVE the mountains, downtown Gatlinburg really holds a special place in our hearts. We love Christmas time, and walking around the shops with all the lights hanging overhead and around really makes it feel like you're away from it all and in a Thomas Kinkade Holiday Village.

Q. How often do you visit Gatlinburg? A. At least once a year! We love to visit during the holiday season specifically for New Year’s, but recently we've been going back again during the spring to enjoy the outdoors and check out the wildlife!
