For the past twenty years Fannie Farkle's has become famous for our homeade, footlong corn dogs. We have named our corn dogs, "OGLE DOGS" after Mr. Tom Ogle who is one of the local Pioneers of Gatlinburg and our friend! People come from "near and far" just to have an "OGLE DOG"! We use our own secret recipe and do the entire process before your very eyes right on the premises. The kitchen is located in the front of our Shop and you can watch us make OGLE DOGS from behind a glass window while you wait to taste the one you ordered! Yes, they are approximately a foot long! Any smaller than that, and you'd only have to order a second one. They're THAT GOOD! We even wrap them up to go in our custom "OGLE DOG" bags. All our drinks are Coca Cola products and lemonade and they are served in two sizes of souvenir cups with our logo on the front! We also serve HAWAIIAN SHAVED ICE in over 12 flavors, Cotton Candy packaged in our "Fannie Farkle's" bags, and last but not least, our Famous Sausage Subs made with Smoked Sausage and served with sauteed peppers and onions! The aromas from the sausages while they are cooking is something to behold. Your taste buds start to water, as you pass by and smell them on the grill! Bottled water, hot coffee and cappuccino is also available! Our food is often copied but never duplicated.
