Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Spring kicks off a full season of events with Gatlinburg Wine Fest Weekend. The Gatlinburg Wine Tour on Friday, April 8 and Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest on Saturday, April 9 offers wine aficionados a weekend of tasting the finest of Gatlinburg’s culinary fare and Tennessee wines.

Gatlinburg Wine Tour is the perfect opportunity for couples planning a date night or convenient for a quick girlfriend getaway with friends. The personal tour features three Gatlinburg wineries with light hors d’oeuvres served at each location. The opening reception begins at the Courtyard by Marriott at 5 p.m. with transportation to and from the wineries provided.

The celebration continues Saturday, April 9, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., for the 4th Annual Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Guests at Wine Fest will have the chance to tour the world-renowned art galleries of Arrowmont. Sanctioned by Tennessee Wineries Association, the highly successful Wine Fest will feature 17 wineries from across Tennessee providing samples of their labels along with small dish fare from the best restaurants in the Smoky Mountains. Wine talks and food pairing demonstrations will be presented by the best sommeliers in Tennessee and top chefs in Gatlinburg.

Vintners include: Amber Falls Winery & Cellars, Apple Barn Winery, Beans Creek Winery, Cades Cove Winery, Eagle Springs Winery, Goodwater Vineyards, Grinder’s Switch Winery, Hillside Winery, Keg Springs Winery, Mountain Valley Winery, The Winery at the Old Mill, Paris Winery, Reedy Creek Winery, Sugarland Cellars, Sumner Crest Winery, Tennessee Valley Winery, and the Winery at Seven Springs among others.
